Magnetisation $\mathbf{M}$ is the net magnetic moment per unit volume of a material.

$\mathbf{M} = \frac{\mathbf{m}_{net}}{V}$

It is a vector quantity measured in amperes per meter ($\text{A m}^{-1}$).
