CBSE Class 11 Humanities Chapter List 2026-27: History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology and Psychology
Class 11 Humanities introduces the subjects you will carry into Class 12, and most of them are taught from two books: one on ideas and one on India. Political Science pairs Political Theory with the Indian Constitution, Geography pairs physical geography with India's physical environment, and Sociology pairs an introduction to the subject with a book on society.

How to study these chapters
Learn the concepts, then the examples. Political Theory and Sociology are built on a handful of ideas (freedom, equality, rights, institutions, socialisation). Once those are clear, the rest of each book is examples of them.
Read the Constitution book with the news. Indian Constitution at Work is easier to remember when you connect each chapter (elections, the judiciary, federalism) to something that happened this year.
Diagrams win marks in Geography. Draw the earth's interior, the pressure belts and the ocean currents yourself. A labelled diagram is often worth as much as a paragraph.
Everything in one place
Each chapter linked above has its own page on Kedovo with the resources published for it: chapter notes (every subject except Maths), step-by-step NCERT solutions, flashcards, extra questions with model answers, MCQs, assertion and reason questions and case study questions, plus an AI tutor that already knows which chapter you are on. Chapter notes are free to read without an account.
