CBSE Class 12 Humanities Chapter List 2026-27: History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology and More
Humanities students choose from more subjects than any other stream, and most Class 12 Humanities subjects are taught from two books each. That makes it easy to lose track of what is actually on the syllabus. This page lists every chapter of every book, grouped by subject.

How to study these chapters
Write, do not just read. Humanities papers are long-answer papers. After reading a chapter, write one or two answers to its exercise questions under time, then compare with a model answer for structure and coverage.
Make timelines and maps. History and Political Science both reward getting events in order; Geography rewards locating them. A single-page timeline or map per chapter is the most useful revision sheet you can make.
Use the textbook's own terms. Sociology and Psychology answers are marked on concepts. Using the exact terms the book defines (and explaining them) scores better than a good general answer.
Everything in one place
Each chapter linked above has its own page on Kedovo with the resources published for it: chapter notes (every subject except Maths), step-by-step NCERT solutions, flashcards, extra questions with model answers, MCQs, assertion and reason questions and case study questions, plus an AI tutor that already knows which chapter you are on. Chapter notes are free to read without an account.
